Old enough to know way, way better, over my perfect BMI, inclined to see the funny side of things which renders the first two points (sort of) irrelevant, mother of one child and one dog, married to a lovely Scouser who makes me laugh a lot, often unintentionally. Work in an advertising agency, trading on my life experience for some time now. So far, so good.
Life is what happens when you’re busy making other plans.
SO, I’VE DECIDED TO BLOG …
Gidday! <cheerful>
Well, hello there <sophisticated>
Hi! <cute and potentially annoying>
Hows it going? <casual yet concerned>
Greetings, blog readers <nerdy>
Is this thing on? <actual voice>
You can tell I’m new at this. Because its my first post. By way of introduction, I am a married mother of one, on the wrong side of 45 (that means over 45 in case you were unsure, and I guess its all about perception, right?) who works with a bunch of young web designers and developers (I call them “The Kids”) who tell me I can write pretty good – their grammar, not mine.
Why not, then. It might be fun – if its not, I’ll stop. What a deliciously simple idea! Imagine that idea across life. “I’ll work / have kids / go to the gym / eat spinach / pay the mortgage while its fun, then I’ll stop”. (Actually, paying the mortgage is never fun so scratch that one. Although, if you do find paying the mortgage fun, we need to be friends).
There it is. My First Post. It was fun. So I’ll keep going, for now.
